Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is medical equipment for use in the home. DME includes wheelchairs, hospital beds, commode chairs, oxygen equipment, walkers, bedpans, incontinence supplies (diapers and chux), and other medical supplies. Most DME is covered by the Funds, but you must first have a doctor’s order, and you must get the DME from a Funds’ DME Program Vendor. Some items require approval by the Funds.
You are required to get all of your DME, diabetic, and incontinence supplies from one of the following Funds’ DME Vendors:

You are not limited to the Program when obtaining other types of medical supplies.
DME obtained while you are in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehabilitation facility are not covered by the program.
